Lottery Ticket Worth $50K Sold in Danbury

DANBURY, CT — A Danbury gas station sold a lottery ticket worth $50,000.

White Street Getty sold the winning $500,000 GOLD game ticket to Elder Flores Cerrano from Brewster, NY, on Monday, Dec. 2.

The win was the latest in a streak of lucky tickets sold in the City. On Nov. 21, Francisco Perez Contreras of Danbury purchased a winning lottery ticket from the Citgo gas station at 38 Germantown Road in Danbury. Contreras played the scratch-off game 75 Grand, which lived up to its name, paying out $75,000.

Bernard Barabas Sr. scored $10,000 from a 30X CASH 6th Edition ticket he bought at J & R Lake Ave LLC, Danbury, on Nov. 25.

On Nov. 12, William Mclaughlin of Danbury claimed his payday —one lump sum of $21,365,302 — after winning the $25.8 million jackpot on Nov. 1.
