This free food distribution is not limited to Danbury residents, and no registration or documentation is required.

DANBURY, CT — The United Way of Western Connecticut and the Connecticut Food Bank are partnering with the City of Danbury and Danbury Public Schools to host mass food drive-thru distribution every Saturday in August from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Danbury High School.

In addition to the food drive, Danbury High will also host mobile vaccination clinics to provide residents the opportunity to receive a coronavirus vaccine. Clinics will be provided throughout the month by Griffin Health, RVNA, and CHC, Inc.

Walnut Hill Community Church will be providing logistical and volunteer support for the distributions, according to a news release from the city. Residents may volunteer online.
