• 3 Danbury Vape Shops Busted In Marijuana, Underage Vape Sting: Police (patch.com) — Danbury police say three local vape shops failed an undercover compliance sting, with clerks accused of selling marijuana to an agent and vape products to an underage buyer. Investigators report seizing more than 52 pounds of illicit THC products across the Danbury stores, and arrests were made as the broader probe into illegal THC sales at city vape shops continues.
   

• WestConn Student Accused Of Spitting At Football Players During Game: Police (patch.com) — A Western Connecticut State University student in Danbury is accused of spitting and throwing a drink at members of a visiting football team from an elevated platform during a weekend game. Campus and Danbury police, along with an athletic official, intervened, and the student now faces a breach of peace charge with a court date set later this month.
