Meet Thor!

Thor is a year and a half beagle who retired from biomedical research in November of 2016. The BeFreegle Foundation takes in dogs, mostly beagles, from research facilities all over the country and finds them forever homes. Beagles are used in research because of their sweet dispositions and docile natures. Thor is one lucky boy to be released so young and is quickly adjusting to life outside the lab.

He's staying at Wags Doggie Daycamp & Boarding in Danbury, and he loves to play with his doggie friends, snuggle with the human staff, and amuse himself with toys. Everyone who works with him has said, "Oh, I wish I could take him home!" at least once. He even gives hugs!
