More Footage to be Reviewed in Case of Danbury Nanny Accused of Abuse
Authorities say the new footage could bring more charges for the nanny.

The Danbury nanny accused of intentionally burning a child could face even more charges, the News Times reports.
Lidia Quilligana, 32 was arrested March 27 and charged with first-degree assault, risk of injury to a minor and third-degree criminal mischief.
After prosecutors viewed footage from the hidden nanny camera, Quilligana was charged with 15 additional counts of risk of injury to a minor, the paper reports. At a hearing on Tuesday, authorities said there are more videos that need to be reviewed that are likely to show more abuse.

According to the paper, Quilligana’s attorney asked for her future court appearance’s to be waived as the trips from jail to court may complicate her “risky pregnancy.” The judge denied the request.
