John W. Anderson, of Danbury, CT, died peacefully on Tuesday January 30, 2018. He was 82 years old. Born on February 6, 1935 in New Haven, CT son to the late John W. and Marjorie (Stubbs) Anderson.
He graduated from Carmel High School and honorably served in the US Army during the Korean War. John retired from Hoffman Fuel of Danbury after 35 years.
Mr. Anderson is survived by his wife Lori (Gray) Anderson, his 4 children; Katherine Cooper, Tracey Lewis, John W. Anderson, and Kirstan Taylor, his 2 grandchildren; Isiah Carpenter and Kylah Taylor. He was predeceased by his granddaughter Brittney Savage. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday February 6, 2018 12:00pm at the Beecher Funeral Home, 1 Putnam Avenue, Brewster, NY. Interment will follow at Maple Avenue Cemetery, Patterson, NY. Visitation will be held prior to the service at the funeral home from 10am-12pm. www.Beecherfuneralhome.com
