Obituary: Johanna Crain Nelson, 96, Danbury
She was a proud, diligent factory worker for Plastic Products and later for MBI in Danbury.

DANBURY, CT --- Johanna Crain Nelson, age 96 wife of Eric Nelson passed away peacefully at her home in Danbury, surrounded by her family. Johanna was born on August 30, 1921 in Norwalk, Connecticut, daughter of the late Ferdinando (Frank) and Ines (Regilini) Ucellini.
Johanna worked as a factory worker for Plastic Products and later for MBI in Danbury. She was a proud, hard working woman that went through many hard times in her life. Through it all she remained strong and pushed forward. As life changed, she adapted, made many new friends and family. Know matter what, she persevered.
In addition to her husband, Johanna is survived by her grandson John (Jack Jr) Crain and his wife Christina; Granddaughter Theresa McGurie and her great grandchildren LeighAnn and Patrick; her step daughter Linda and her husband Ed, several nieces/nephews and many extended family members she became very close to while partying and dancing on the holidays. Greek Easter was her favorite because of family and Lamb. God Bless Her!

She was predeceased by her first husband John (Jack) Crain, son John (Jack) Crain, brothers, Burt, Frederick and Johnny, sisters Anna, Josephine, Virginia and Norma.
Calling hours will be on Thursday April 12, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. until the service at 10:30 a.m. at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Avenue, Norwalk.
