• Person extricated from vehicle after Ridgefield crash on Route 7, officials say (newstimes.com) — Two people injured in a two-vehicle crash on Route 7 in Ridgefield were taken to Danbury Hospital after firefighters extricated a trapped driver from a car down an embankment. The Friday afternoon collision near Cains Hill Road briefly closed the area while emergency crews worked, and police say the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
