People’s United Bank Community Foundation awards grant to Housatonic Habitat for Humanity
Grant for Affordable Housing

People’s United Bank Community Foundation recently awarded $5000 to Housatonic Habitat for Humanity. Housatonic Habitat for Humanity’s mission focuses on making a meaningful difference in the lives of qualified working families by promoting financial stability and self-sufficiency through ownership of affordable homes.

People's United Bank established the People's United Community Foundation in 2007. The People's United Community Foundation supports 501(c) 3 non-profit organizations through its grant application and award process. The Community Foundation’s primary areas of focus are: community development, youth development, and affordable housing.
