Police Charge Danbury Man with Breaking into Neighborhood Vehicles

WEST HARTFORD, CT - Police said they arrested a man Tuesday suspected of burglarizing vehicles in a West Hartford neighborhood.

Officers responded to an active complaint involving burglaries into motor vehicles, according to a release. An alert resident had called to report a person on foot possibly burglarizing vehicles in the neighborhood.

Responding officers quickly located Lucasdaniel Viganor, 24, of Danbury in the immediate area. Several vehicles in the area were found unlocked and were believed to have been entered by the suspect.

Police said a subsequent K-9 track was unsuccessful in locating any additional suspects. Viganor was charged with burglary, larceny and trespass.

Police continue to encourage residents to lock their doors (home and cars) and to call in any suspicious incidents.
