Police Charge Danbury Man With Opioid-Related Offenses
Police charged a Danbury man with multiple drug-related offenses following an investigation.
DANBURY, CT — Police charged a Danbury man with multiple drug-related offenses following an investigation.
On Mar. 7 around 3p.m., Danbury police executed a search warrant as Bounmy Douangta, 38, of South Street sat in his car in a private parking lot on Newtown Road.
Police seized oxycodone, amphetamine/dextroamphetamine pills and $760 in cash from Douangta's car and person, according to a news release.

Douangta was charged with one count of possession of drug paraphernalia, two counts of possession of a narcotics substance with intent to sell and three counts of possession of a controlled substance. He was held on a $100,000 bond
