Police Seek Driver Involved in I-84 Hit and Run in Danbury: State Police

Police are asking the public for any information on the crash.

DANBURY, CT — The driver of a vehicle allegedly involved in a hit-and-run crash on I-84 in Danbury is being searched for by police, the Connecticut State Police confirmed with Patch.

Police say that a car pushed a black pick-up truck into traffic barriers on the exit 6 off-ramp. The vehicle driven by the suspect fled the scene after the crash.

Police describe the driver as a white female standing at approximately six feet tall and in her 30s. She was further described as having brown hair and wearing hospital scrubs.

The car driven by the suspect was described as a tan sedan which could have possibly been a Nissan Altima with a CT license plate. The accident report says that the car will have passenger side damage.

Police are asking anyone with information to contact state police Troop A at 203-267-2240.
