Proposed Danbury Charter School Passes First State Approval
The group that would run the school already runs four in Brooklyn.

DANBURY, CT — A proposed charter school in Danbury passed the first step of state approval. The Danbury Prospect Charter School will now be subject to public hearings.
Brooklyn Prospect Charter School group currently operates four charter schools in Brooklyn with 1,000 students, according to the News-Times.
Danbury's location would be the first int he state to teach International Baccalaureate, which involves critical thinking via in-depth reading and writing.
