Rugby Film To Have CT Premier at Danbury's Palace Theatre

On Friday, March 9, Danbury’s Palace Theatre will present the CT premier of the film Chasing Great, about rugby superstar Richie McCaw.

Chasing Great is the fascinating documentary about New Zealand rugby legend Richie McCaw who is regarded as one of the greatest rugby players and greatest athletes of all time. The film weaves McCaw’s life story into his final season as captain of the All Blacks, revealing the determination and mental toughness of an international sporting legend who still sees himself as an ‘ordinary guy’ from small town New Zealand.
More than just a sports movie, Chasing Great is a character study that explores what it takes to succeed at the highest level. “People have been truly moved by the film. It’s about what you can become and not just what you were born with,” explains director Michelle Walsh.
