Search Yields Marijuana Packaged For Sale: Danbury PD
Detectives got complaints about an apartment tenant who was acting suspiciously, police said.

DANBURY, CT — A Virginia Avenue woman was arrested after investigators caught her with several ounces of marijuana packaged for sale, according to police.
Several complaints were filed against a resident in the unit who was acting suspiciously, said Lt. Mark Williams, police spokesman.
"It was said that she would meet people in the parking lot for very short periods of time before they drove off and her reentering her residence," Williams said.

Police obtained a search warrant for Alexandria Whitlock's residence, phone and person. The search was conducted Feb. 2 while Whitlock was observed selling drugs to a car occupant in front of her residence, Williams said.
Whitlock, 20, was found to be holding money from the transaction and the buyer was issued an infraction for possession of marijuana, according to Williams. Police also seized drug paraphernalia and money from Whitlock's residence.

She was charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, sale of a controlled substance and other drug crimes. She was released on a promise to appear.
