Serial Killer Assaults Danbury Sex Trafficker: Report
The serial killer has since been charged with disorderly conduct and third degree assault.

DANBURY, CT — A local man scheduled to be sentenced for his role in a sex trafficking ring was assaulted by a serial killer, the Hartford Courant is reporting.
Robert King, Jr., 52, of Danbury, suffered a broken nose and orbital socket. He was allegedly struck by convicted serial killer William Devin Howell, the Courant reported, on Dec. 3 at the Chesire Correctional Institute. Howell has since been charged with disorderly conduct and third degree assault.
King was arrested two years ago along with two clients following an investigation by local and federal authorities. King was accused of targeting men in their 20s with mental health problems, befriending them, offering them drugs, and then selling them into prostitution to pay off their drug debts. He pleaded guilty to charges of sex trafficking in August.
