AT&T Connecticut, along with state Sen. Michael McLachlan, will be bringing the “It Can Wait” distracted driving awareness campaign to students at Danbury High School this upcoming Thursday, Feb. 23rd.

AT&T and the senator will lead juniors and seniors at Danbury High School in an interactive discussion about distracted driving.

Students will also watch a powerful documentary presented by AT&T that shows the potentially deadly consequences of glancing at your smartphone while you’re behind the wheel of a car. Thursday’s event is part of AT&T’s national “It Can Wait” campaign, which has encouraged more than 11 million people across the country to never text and drive.
