Veterans Day brick installation at the Veterans Walkway of Honor

With Veterans Day right around the corner, why not purchase a donor brick honoring that special veteran in your life. Your brick would join the more than 520 bricks already in the Veterans Walkway of Honor located at the Danbury War Memorial. The cutoff date to order a brick is October 8th.

Bricks may be engraved with the name, rank and service branch of family, friends and loved ones who served honorably in the United States Armed Forces. Bricks may be in honor of those who are still living, missing in action, on active duty or in memory of those who are deceased. Stock logos are also available for engraving.

Mayor Mark Boughton said, "The Veterans Walkway of Honor is a unique addition to the memorials in Rogers Park. As future generations travel the special path, they will be reminded of those who have served our country, and who have fought for our freedoms; hopefully bringing a sense of American pride to each visitor."
