Video Reviewed of Danbury Nanny Accused of Appalling Child Abuse
Video footage shows Lidia Quilligan repeatedly smacking and intentionally burning a 3-year-old girl who got second degree burns.

Judge Dan Shaban, defense and prosecution attorneys reviewed video evidence in the case of a Danbury nanny charged with 23 counts of risk of injury to a minor and one count of first-degree assault, according to the News Times.
Lidia Quilligana, 32, is shown on the video force-feeding a 3-year-old girl, slapping the toddler, jumping the girl and pressing her hands and leg against a stove burner. The nanny is also accused of abusing the 1-year-old twin siblings in her care.
The video was taken on a hidden nanny camera.
Quilligana was arrested in March 2015 and is being held on $1 million bond.
The next hearing is March 16, 2016.
