WCDNF sponsors an "Hooray For The Arts" evening
WCDNF sponsored their 2nd "Hooray For The Arts" show for area high school students at the Brookfield Craft Center.

The Woman's Club of Danbury/New Fairfield held their 2nd "Hooray For The Arts" event this year at The Brookfield Craft Center. The 2nd Art Show was held on Mar. 16. The show was for senior students from five local high schools who wanted to submit their art to a juried art contest.

The Brookfield Art Center graciously hosted the event. The art pieces made by the students were from various media. Winners received ribbons and cash prizes. There were four First place winners, three Second place winners, and three Third place winners along with "Best in Show" . The judges were: Carol Rosenblum- member of the Woman's Club and retired art teacher from Danbury and Claudia Mitchell.
