WCSU Foundation to Host Winter Wine Event
This is the second year the WCSU Foundation has partnered with the venue to host this event.
DANBURY, CONN. — The Western Connecticut State University Foundation will host a Winter Wine Event from 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 11, at Max Wine and Spirits, 40 Mill Plain Road in Danbury. Tickets are $30 and the public is invited. For tickets and information, visit https://alumni.wcsu.edu/wine or call (203) 837-9820. In the case of inclement weather, the date will be moved to Feb. 25.
The event will include several tables with a variety of wines, beers and liquors, and company representatives to assist with tasting. The fundraiser will be a great time to mingle with the WCSU community and general public.
The WCSU Foundation Inc. effectively raises funds and carefully manages charitable gifts for the support of the university. Proceeds from this event will go to support student success at WestConn by funding scholarships and helping talented students with limited means participate in out-of-classroom opportunities.
