As you’re preparing to ring in the new year, we have put together a list of holiday hours and closings. Happy New Year!

Danbury Public Library will be closed on:

• Wednesday, Dec. 31
• Thursday, Jan. 1.
• The library will reopen at 10 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 2.

Closed on New Year’s Day, Jan. 1, 2015:

• City Offices
• U.S. Government offices
• Post Office
• Library
• Schools will remain closed for winter break
• Banks
• Connecticut state offices
• Connecticut Department of Motor Vehicles
• AAA offices
