Yankee Doodle Stove & Fireplace shows real hearth and donates new Fireplace goods to Housatonic Habitat for Humanity ReStore

Sam Halsey, founder of Yankee Doodle, Inc. Stove & Fireplace Center in Wilton, CT recently donated a truckload of goods to the Housatonic Habitat ReStore at 51 Austin St. in Danbury, CT. The donation included a variety of new fireplace items including 9 glass fireplace doors, 3 fireplace screens and 4 hearth pads (for use under stoves). When asked what made him donate to Housatonic Habitat, Sam stated, “I decided to make this donation to Housatonic Habitat because it is going to help people.” It’s people like Sam who ‘warm’ our hearts and our customers’ homes!
