DANBURY, CT — A Danbury man has scored big in Powerball, and a winning Mega Millions ticket has also been sold in the city.
On Friday, Cupertino Miguel Garcia of Danbury purchased a winning lottery ticket from United Check Cashing in Danbury. Garcia played Powerball which paid out $150,000.
On that same day, Renee Bento of Spring Hill, FL, played Mega Millions with a ticket she purchased at Amoco in Danbury, and won $20,000.
