Charles Joseph Leslie of Darien passed away on Saturday, Dec. 29, 2012 and joins his beloved wife, Nancy Leslie and daughter, Lauren Leslie, in heaven.
He was born in Manhattan on Jan. 23, 1939 to Charles Joseph and Alice Clark Leslie and raised in Manhasset, NY.
Charles’ greatest accomplishment was marrying his wife of 49 years, Nancy Leslie and his three children, C.J. Leslie of Santa Cruz, CA, Jeff Leslie of Greenbrae, CA and Lauren Leslie who passed away at age 17.

Charles Leslie was proud to have served in the Armed Forces and was educated at Columbia University. Charles co-founded Pyne X-ray in 1965 which was later acquired and renamed Fuji Medical Systems USA, Inc.
Charles was a skilled yachtsman, enjoyed golfing and spent the last twenty years navigating the waters of the British Virgin Islands. He also enjoyed his role as grandfather to Taylor (11), Brooke (8) and AJ (3) Leslie.

Charles Leslie is survived by his brother Lawrence Leslie, and his sisters Alice Leslie and Helen Leslie.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, January 4, 2013 at St. Thomas More Church in Darien. A private family interment will be held at Spring Grove Cemetery in Darien.
