Court Decision Reached On Darien HS Football Players: Report

DARIEN, CT — The two 18-year-old Darien High School football players, who were arrested in the fall in connection with an assault on a New Canaan teen, have been granted accelerated rehabilitation by the court, reports the New Canaan News.

Brian Minicus was admitted into the program recently, which will wipe their arrests from the record upon successful completion of the volunteer work the probationary program requires.

A third juvenile was also charged in connection of with the case, but the status of his case was not immediately known. When reached by Patch, Mark Sherman, the juvenile’s Stamford criminal lawyer, declined to comment on specifics of his client’s case, but said he was hopeful for a similar disposition.
