Darien Police Offering College Internship Program
The program aims to provide college students an opportunity to personally evaluate the law enforcement profession.

DARIEN, CT — The Darien Police Department has announced a college internship program that aims to provide college students an opportunity to personally evaluate the law enforcement profession.
"The Darien Police Department will make every attempt to provide students the opportunity to experience aspects of our agency including but not limited to patrol functions, traffic safety and enforcement, investigative functions, records and evidence management, communications functions, marine responsibilities (seasonal availability), animal control, administrative functions and more," police said in an announcement.
Applications for the summer semester must be received by May 1.
