Darien Police To Participate In 2025 Law Enforcement Torch Run
The community is invited to come out along the route and cheer on Darien police officers as they carry the torch.

DARIEN, CT — The Darien Police Department will participate in the upcoming Law Enforcement Torch Run for the Special Olympics.
A three-day torch run takes place each June leading up to the Special Olympics Summer Games. Law enforcement members and Special Olympics athletes carry the Flame of Hope into the Opening Ceremony of local competitions, and into Special Olympics State, Provincial, National, Regional, and World Games.
The torch run in Darien will begin on June 6 at 10:27 a.m. at Mansfield Avenue and Dew Lane. It will then go a little over four miles to the Post Road near Donut Delite.
