DARIEN, CT — A Darien High School senior is leading an effort to redesign the town flag, and he's currently seeking feedback on several options.

According to First Selectman Jon Zagrodzky's recent bi-weekly newsletter to the community, he was contacted by Harris Cavanna last year with the idea of redesigning the Darien town flag, which is white with the town's logo in the middle.

"Harris had several design concepts in mind, which we discussed at length. He then worked with a graphics artist, to translate these concepts into several potential flag designs," Zagrodzky said. "In November, he presented these designs to the Board of Selectmen, which encouraged him to seek broader input."

Cavanna has launched a survey seeking feedback from residents, who can rank each of the nine options on a scale of one to 10, with 10 being the most favorable. The survey is set to close at the end of day on Jan. 31.

Those with questions or suggestions can reach out to Cavanna at hcavanna@darienct.gov, Zagrodzky said.
