Free Pizza Offered To Darien Kids Who Safely Ride E-Bikes, E-Scooters: What To Know

Police and school officials are launching an E-bike and E-scooter education initiative to promote safe and responsible riding.

DARIEN, CT — Kids in Darien who ride their E-bikes and E-scooters safely and follow the rules of the road will be rewarded with free pizza coupons from the Darien Police Department.

Police, in partnership with the Darien Police Commission, Darien Police Association, and Darien Public Schools, will launch an E-bike and E-scooter education initiative to promote safe and responsible riding on Friday with an event at Middlesex Middle School.

To be eligible for coupons to Heights Pizza, school-aged children must ride their E-bikes or E-scooters safely, wear helmets and follow traffic laws.

Police will offer one coupon per child, per day, redeemable only at Heights Pizza, located at 882 Post Road. Coupons will have an expiration date, as determined by Heights Pizza.
