Greg Ehlers for Connecticut State Senate
Connecticut Open for Business - Greg Ehlers is your man in the November 8 election for the State Senate

Voters in Darien and Norwalk can become instrumental in ending the fiscal nightmare in our State Government. Conservative Democrats need to take back their party in Hartford, and Republicans need to become the majority party in the State Senate and House. After more than a decade of higher taxes, politics that are driving businesses and taxpayers away, and handouts to state employee unions, state finances and bond ratings are in ruin. After one-party-everywhere rule by the Democrats, it is time for them to go. In the 25th District, residents have an easy choice in voting for Greg Ehlers as State Senator.
The incumbent Bob Duff has been part of the Democratic machine in the State Senate for a decade and bears direct responsibility for Connecticut’s free fall as Senate Majority Leader. Bob Duff is a strange case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde: The latter acts as the sinister henchman for Governor Malloy in the Senate during the week, while the former returns with an angelic smile to your neighborhood on the weekend and during campaign season. He strives hard to give the impression that his elevated station benefits his constituents; it does not. When he advertises moneys returned to his district, he forgets to mention that these are pennies to the dollars which, as Malloy’s dark agent, he was previously instrumental in cutting.
Greg Ehlers is a businessman with a strong background in banking and finance. His “Connecticut open for Business” campaign understands that voters want an end to the schmoozing of the unions -- and the bashing of businesses and taxpayers. Concerned about the direction of the state, Republicans and Independents, even a growing number of Democrats, want new faces in Hartford. We need fresh ideas and private sector financial acumen to save the State and your pocketbook. Greg Ehlers is just the man for the job.
