Work To Repair Gorham's Pond Dam To Begin in February, Town Says
Darien announced this week when work will begin to repair the Gorham's Pond Dam, which is located adjacent to the Rings End Road Bridge.

DARIEN, CT — Darien will begin work to repair the Gorham's Pond Dam in February, according to an announcement from the town this week.
Tide gates will be opened periodically as required for construction, which is expected to continue through October, the town said. The tide gate openings will be announced in advance.

Road closures are not anticipated to be in place, but traffic control will be on-site for any necessary work within the roadway, the town noted.
The dam is located adjacent to the Rings End Road Bridge.
