Holiday Hours Announced At The Darien Swap Shop

DARIEN, CT -- With Christmas and Hannukah a week away, the Darien Swap Shop has announced its holiday hours.

The shop will be open on Thursday, Friday and Saturday this week from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and will close in inclement weather.

Located at 126 Ledge Road within the Darien Transfer Station site, the swap shop opened in 2009. It was established to help residents exchange or donate household items as an alternative to throwing them away, and it's become a favorite location for many in town.
