• Police: 15-year-old arrested in connection with Darien home invasion (news12.com) — Darien residents now have an update on the frightening March home invasion on Five Mile River Road, as police say a 15-year-old has been arrested and charged with home invasion and conspiracy. Investigators used interviews, video, license plate data, and search warrants to identify the juvenile, who was taken into custody at the Bridgeport Juvenile Detention Center. The case stems from an incident where masked suspects entered a home using a hidden key and were confronted by an armed homeowner.

• 30,000 CT Residents Without Power Due To Powerful Nor'easter Storm: Town-By-Town Updates (patch.com) — Darien is among the Connecticut towns hit by widespread power outages from Sunday's powerful nor'easter, with Eversource reporting hundreds of local customers in the dark and more problems possible as winds and rain continue. The storm is expected to linger through Monday, bringing additional heavy rain, gusts up to 45 mph in parts of the region, and the risk of more downed trees, flooded roads, and extended restoration work.
