Plea Deal for Hamden Woman in Darien Home Invasion

The woman pleaded guilty to charges that will send her to prison for eight years.

Alexis Jordan, 23, of Hamden also faces charges for other burglaries around the state.

According to the paper, Jordan pleaded guilty to one count of first-degree burglary and two counts of third-degree burglary that will send her to prison for eight years. In return, the home invasion charge was dropped against her, the mandatory minimum sentence for which if found guilty is 10 years in prison.

The Supervisory Senior Assistant State’s Attorney consulted with the 69-year-old owner of the Priscilla Road home before dropping the home invasion charge, the paper reports. The woman agreed that the sentence was sufficient for her to feel justice had been served.

The case for Jordan’s boyfriend, Michael Apuzzo, 25, of Hamden who also faces charges in the home invasion was continued until May 6.

Jordan will be sentenced in Stamford in mid-June.
