Post Road Flooded In Darien Tuesday
Torrential rains flooded extensive parts of Darien and areas around the state on Sept. 25.
DARIEN, CT — Patch reader Katie Betts shot the photos and video below of flooding on the Post Road in Darien on Sept. 25, 2018. These pics and video were taken in front of the Range Rover dealership.
Parts of the town were completely under water during Tuesday's storm, though the town unofficially received 1.54 inches of rain, according to the National Weather Service.
By comparison, in Fairfield County Trumbull received a whopping 7.32 inches, while Hamden received the most rain in the state, clocking in at 8.5 inches.
