Connecticut Rain Totals Town-By-Town 9/25/18 Storm
Some of the rain totals Connecticut received are quite shocking. Here's a town-by-town look.

It was a rain storm that Connecticut hasn't seen in some time as flash flooding shut down highways, a road collapsed in North Haven, residents in Clinton were evacuated, firefighters rescued folks from submerged cars in Fairfield, and students were rescued by boat in Stamford when their bus became submerged in water.
And that only tells a partial story about the damage that Tuesday's storm did to the state. Numerous streets in towns across Connecticut are still closed this morning due to floodwaters. Several schools have implemented delays and or cancelations Wednesday.
If you're wondering how much rain fell across Connecticut here is a look courtesy of the National Weather Service, which has official reports from towns across the state. All of these totals have been verified by the NWS. Spoiler alert, Hamden received the most rain, clocking in at 8.5 inches.
