Public Tree Hearing Scheduled In Darien

Members of the public are invited to attend and speak on the proposed tree removal.

DARIEN, CT — A public tree hearing has been scheduled this week in Darien, according to a notice posted on the town's website.

Abutting property owners within the immediate vicinity of 229 Long Neck Point Road will have the chance to speak on the proposed removal of a Norway maple tree.

The hearing, which will be conducted by Darien Tree Warden Michael Cotta, will take place on May 22 at 6 p.m. inside room 206 at Darien Town Hall.
