Restricted Overnight Parking Advisory In Effect In Darien

DARIEN, CT — Darien's overnight parking restrictions are now in effect.

Effective Dec. 1, the parking of vehicles on public roads in Darien between the hours of 2 a.m. and 6 a.m. is prohibited. The purpose of this restriction is for the town to be able to clear the streets of snow during the winter months.

Inclement weather is on the way according to the National Weather Service's seven-day forecast, but mostly rain is expected.

Coastal sections of southern Connecticut can expect rain likely before 1 p.m. on Thursday, then a slight chance of flurries.
