Tossed Stop Sign Causes $15k of Damage to Darien Pool

The stop sign ripped the pool liner and caused water to leak out.

A stop sign thrown into a Darien pool caused $15,000 worth of damage.

Police responded to the Pear Tree Point home on the morning of June 30. A Department of Transportation stop sign had been thrown into the in-ground pool and tore the liner.

It appears that the sign was removed from the Pear Street Point and Long Neck Point intersection.
