Decision Reached On Special Permit For Lyman Farm, Inc. In Middlefield
The farm was recently before the Planning and Zoning Commission.

MIDDLEFIELD, CT — Lyman Farm, Inc., located at 700 Main St. in Middlefield, was granted a special permit by the Planning and Zoning Commission for a new project at its facility, according to town officials.
The special permit is for "adding storage building, food service and facilities, service of wine and beer to existing approved facility with conditions," wrote P&Z Chairman Robert Johnson in a notice about the approval earlier this month.

In other P&Z business, the commission also approved a two-year renewal for the Stowe Street gravel pit, and a special permit to Cherry Hill Road resident Dorothy Albert for a "for Detached Accessory Apartment with conditions."
