DURHAM, CT — The Durham Fair will kickoff Thursday Sept. 21 and will last through Sunday Sept. 24 this year. It is the state's largest agricultural fair.
Entertainment includes the Brothers Osborne, Benatar and Giraldo and the USO Show Troupe. There will also be talent shows, a lumberjack show, motorized events and animals pulls.
The fair has a long history stretching back 100 years. It started as a one-day event in 1916 and eventually became a four-day event in 2010. A good weather weekend can draw in 200,000 people from Connecticut and the surrounding area, according to the fair's website.
