• Durham Finance Board Backs Up To $12,720 For Fire Hose Replacement (patch.com) — Durham's Board of Finance has backed up to $12,720 to replace failing fire hoses and recommended a town meeting to approve shifting reserve funds. Officials also reviewed a nearly on-budget fiscal year, discussed shortfalls in the library stairs project, upcoming road and sidewalk work, and tabled a police e-bike request that would serve events like the Durham Fair.
