Durham Fire Department Appropriation Subject of Upcoming Town Meeting
Additionally, the Local Historic Property Ordinance also will be discussed.
DURHAM, CT — A Special Town Meeting has been scheduled in Durham on Dec. 12 to vote on a fire department appropriation and the proposed Local Historic Property Ordinance.
The fire department appropriation is for $30,508 to purchase a chest compression system, EpiPen replacements and suction hose and other equipment, according to town officials.
The Local Historic Property Ordinance is proposed to protect the Thomas Lyman House and other sites in Durham.
