Durham, Middlefield Forecast: Dense Fog, Snow, Intense Cold

The recent colder temperatures (not counting Sunday’s warmth) were just a preview of what’s to come this week.

• Tuesday: Snow likely, mainly after noon. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 25. Wind chill values between 5 and 15. Calm wind becoming south around 5 mph in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible.

• Tuesday Night: A slight chance of snow before midnight. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 16. Light and variable wind. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

• Wednesday: A slight chance of snow showers. Partly sunny, with a high near 26. Breezy. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

• Wednesday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 1. Blustery.

• Thursday: Mostly sunny and cold, with a high near 15.

• Thursday Night: A chance of snow showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 12. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

• Friday: Partly sunny, with a high near 27
