Durham, Middlefield Forecast: Dense Fog, Snow, Intense Cold

The following forecast for Durham and Middlefield is from the National Weather Service. A dense fog advisory was issued until 7 p.m. Sunday night.
- Monday, Jan. 5: Mostly sunny, with a temperature falling to around 26 by 5pm. Wind chill values between 15 and 25. Northwest wind around 17 mph, with gusts as high as 29 mph.
- Monday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 12. Northwest wind 5 to 13 mph.
- Tuesday: Snow likely, mainly after noon. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 25. Wind chill values between 5 and 15. Calm wind becoming south around 5 mph in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible.
- Tuesday Night: A slight chance of snow before midnight. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 16. Light and variable wind. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
- Wednesday: A slight chance of snow showers. Partly sunny, with a high near 26. Breezy. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
- Wednesday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 1. Blustery.
- Thursday: Mostly sunny and cold, with a high near 15.
- Thursday Night: A chance of snow showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 12. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
- Friday: Partly sunny, with a high near 27
