Durham Plan of Conservation and Development Hearing June 27

The plan encompasses 12 years of goals and other information.

Durham, CT - The town's public hearing on its proposed Plan of Conservation and Development, initially scheduled for July 13, will be held Monday, June 27, according to Durham officials.

"The purpose of this public hearing is to present information and discuss amendments to the Durham Plan of Conservation and Development and to provide an opportunity for public comment," wrote First Selectman Laura L. Francis on the town's website. "All are encouraged to attend."

The plan encompasses 12 years of goals, regulations and potential development plans, and also looks at the future of the historic district along Main Street.

Monday's hearing is scheduled for 8 p.m. in the Julian B. Thayer Auditorium at Coginchaug Regional High School.
