Middlefield Officials Investigate Nazi Flag Display at Local Antiques Store

MIDDLEFIELD, CT — Town officials are investigating the alleged display of a Nazi flag in front of Jimmy D’s Antiques Plus on Meriden Road, reports the Middletown Press.

A photo of the flag was sent to the Middletown Press, but when town officials first went to check on it, the flag was no longer displayed.

But officials were planning to return to the store again to talk to the owner, James DiCaprio, who has a history of conflicts with the town.

Patch tried to contact the store and DiCaprio for comment on Tuesday, but there was no answer.
