Middlefield P&Z Reaches Decision on Powder Ridge Special Permit Request

MIDDLEFIELD, CT — The Middlefield Planning and Zoning Commission last week voted to approve the application of Powder Ridge Mountain Park & Resort, LLC, for a special permit, town officials announced.

The ski resort, located at 99 Powder Hill Road, sought the special permit (or special exception) to expand the facility's Statement of Uses with conditions.

Powder Ridge not only features skiiing, snowboarding and other cold weather activities, but also hosts concerts, mountain biking and other warm weather activities.
