The lake is located off Route 147 in Middlefield.

A body was taken out of Lake Beseck waters at approximately 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 7, according to NBC Connecticut.

An earlier WFSB article said crews were conducting a rescue operation on an adult man is occurring. The area where the operation occurred was near Baileyville Road, or Route 147.
