On Saturday, March 26 at 12:00 PM, Vista Life Innovations will present on “Skill Development for Successful Outcomes: Employment and Life” for the Riverview Transition 2.0 virtual conference. Vista Admissions Managers Steph Foulkes and Suzanne Gregory will draw upon their collective 40 years of experience empowering neurodiverse individuals in this 90-minute presentation.
The presentation will cover how to assess an individual’s readiness for post-secondary education and independent life. Participants will receive an overview of the skills and steps necessary to take the leap into adulthood. The presenters will provide examples of successful growth by those at Vista, including their overall development and employment outcomes.
“Transition can be a challenging process for those with disabilities and their families,” explains Foulkes. “As professionals who are passionate about this work, we know firsthand how securing long-term, meaningful employment is so important to neurodiverse individuals and their quality of life. We take a personal approach with every individual in our program which has led to connections within their chosen community, resulting in an enriching life.”
